  1. The Battle of Camrai ar two battles in
  2. WORLD_WAR_I at Cambrai in North East France.
  3. The first battle took place in November 1917,
  4. the city was almost captured by the British
  5. when large numbers of tanks were used for the
  6. first time. The second battle took place on
  7. the 26th August to the 5th October 1918, the
  8. town was then taken during the final British 
  9. offensive.
